Metzoprotect™
Metzoprotect™ is a combustion-modified polyurethane foam manufactured for the aircraft sector, which utilises Kay-Metzeler patented Graphite Technology. The graphite technology provides Metzoprotect™ with enhanced fire retardant performance which eliminates the requirement for a fire blocking cover.
Metzoprotect™ foam fulfills the requirements of Kerosene Burner Test FAR 25.853(C) Amendment 25-94 part 2 Appendix F. Regular testing is performed at our own in-house CAA approved test facility.
Metzoprotect™ combines increased durability with increased comfort. Kay-Metzeler is a licensee for the Bosstech Form, and with a blend of ergonomics and manufacturing expertise Kay-Metzeler provide the most supportive seating system in the market place.
Metzoprotect™ is either fabricated from block foam or moulded on our state of the art automated plant with robotic pouring facilities. Both manufacturing routes provide a product with guaranteed repeatability to ensure continual compliance with the customer's specification for physical properties. All physical properties are tested in our conditioned laboratory using the relevant BS and BS.EN.ISO methods for testing "Flexible Cellular Materials".
